Preschool Ministry
The Preschool Department of Round Island Baptist Church strives to provide quality care in a Christian environment for children, birth through kindergarten. We begin at an early age telling the children how Jesus loves them and helping them learn that church is a happy place to be to learn about God.
Classes are provided for preschoolers during Sunday School, Discipleship Training, and Wednesday evenings. Church members volunteer on a rotating basis to provide child care during Worship Services for ages birth through three-year-olds. Child care is also available during special Bible studies and events.
The Preschool leaders and other volunteers look forward to the opportunity to touch your child's life for Jesus and Eternity.
Childrens Ministry
The Children's Ministries of Round Island Baptist Church brings the Word of God to your child through many avenues and activities. Some of these include:
Sunday School each Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
Children's Church each Sunday at 10:15 a.m.
Children's Choir, Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
AWANA, Sunday at 5:30 p.m.( August-May)
Through these programs and extracurricular events, a foundation is built in each heart. This foundation is the beginning knowledge of who Jesus Christ is and what His purpose was in coming to earth, dying on the cross and rising from the grave. The promise in John 3:16 is instilled in their hearts so they know how much God loves each one.
Round Island Baptist Church Children's Ministry with the teachers and volunteers look forward to sharing with your child through the various worship opportunities.
Youth Ministry
The object of the Youth and Student Ministries are to encourage a daily relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Round Island Baptist Church strives to achieve this goal in three ways:
1.By teaching the Word of God in such a way that youth can relate to it's principles and apply it's instruction.

2.By learning to respectfully worship our holy Lord and Savior through song and by how we live our lives.

3.By providing year-round programming of events and activities that establish and encourage Christian fellowship and highlight the ministry of the church.

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry is an important part of Round Island Baptist Church. The word of God is filled with scriptures about singing, music and praise. Our services are geared toward a blended style of worship in that we try to incorporate different styles of music in our worship services.
If you have the desire to sing in our Worship Choir, it is our hope you will join us for rehearsal on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the Choir Room. This choir is for those adults who want to use their God-given talents to sing praise to Him. No auditions or music reading skills are required, so you can just relax and enjoy some wonderful fellowship and fun with people who love to sing and lead in worship.
We also have a Children's choir that meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. This choir is under the capable leadership of Jenny Green and Patsy Warren, and this group sings for us regularly. They are such a blessing to our church. They will definitely put a smile on your face.
It is our desire at Round Island Baptist Church to offer a place of Christian Service in the Music Ministry to everyone who has a desire to use his or her talents in the service to our Lord whether it be by singing or playing an instrument.
We view the music and praise part of worship as a ministry and we want to offer you an opportunity to be a part of that ministry.
